Austrian media is reporting that Cardinal Schönborn of Vienna confirmed last night, during the Easter Vigil at Stephansdom that the Salesian priest, Fr. Thomas Uzhunnalil was crucified by ISIS on Good Friday. Polonia Christiana is also carrying the news, based on the Austrian reports.
Fr. Tom is now in Paradise with Our Blessed Lord and His Mother. May his murderers repent and come to believe in the Gospel.

Banyak sekali berita yang simpang siur mengenai pemberitaan tentang Imam Katholik dari India, 'Thomas Uzhunnalil', yang dilaporkan diculik oleh kelompok teroris pada bulan Maret tahun ini.
Dalam sebuah laporan yang diterbitkan oleh Washington Times mengatakan selain penculikan Imam tersebut, dikabarkan juga bahwa ia telah disalibkan oleh ISIS pada hari Jumat Agung di Yaman.
Imam Katolik, yang bekerja di 'Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity', diculik dalam serangan yang dilakukan oleh militan di panti jompo di Yaman pada awal bulan ini.
Sesuai laporan, ketika mengeksekusi Imam Uzhunnalil, kelompok ISIS ini menggunakan metode yang mirip dengan yang dilakukan orang-orang Romawi saat melakukan penyaliban terhadap Yesus Kristus (seperti yang tertulis dalam kitab suci Kristiani pada umumnya).
Namun dari berbagai penelusuran kami, sebelumnya pemerintah India melalui menteri luar negerinya 'Sushma Swaraj' telah mengkonfirmasi perihal penangkapan Imam Tomas Uzhunnalil yang diculik oleh ISIS di Yaman. Dalam cuitannya di sosial media dikatakan dengan tegas bahwa mereka (pemerintah) sedang melakukan upaya dan memastikan bahwa Imam dibebaskan.

An Indian Catholic priest kidnapped by ISIS terrorist in Yemen earlier this month is due to be crucified on Good Friday, religious groups claim.
Father Tom Uzhunnalil, 56, was taken by Islamist gunmen, reportedly linked to ISIS, who attacked an old people's home in Aden, southern Yemen, killing at least 15 people, on March 4.
Several religious groups have posted on social media that they have received reports that Father Tom, from Bangalore, India, will be crucified tomorrow during the Christian holiday.

A group of South African nuns called the Franciscan Sisters of Siessen, posted this week: 'Was informed that the Salesian priest, Fr.Tom who was kidnapped by ISIS from the Missionaries of Charity Home in Yemen is being tortured and is going to be crucified on Good Friday. This calls for serious concerted prayers from all of us.'
Yemeni authorities have blamed ISIS for the March 4 attack on the refuge for the elderly operated by Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity in main southern city Aden.
Four gunmen posing as relatives of one of the guests at the home burst inside, killing four Indian nuns, two Yemeni female staff members, eight elderly residents and a guard.
'According to our information, the extremists who attacked the elderly care home in Aden have kidnapped priest Tom Uzhunnalil, a 56-year-old Indian, who was taken to an unknown location,' a Yemeni security official said.
'We are aware that no group has yet claimed the criminal attack... but information points to the involvement of Daesh,' said the source, who asked to remain anonymous, using an Arabic acronym

However, members of Father Tom's order have denied that he is due to be crucified, saying they have no information on his health or whereabouts.
We have absolutely no information on Fr Tom,' Father Mathew Valarkot, spokesman for the Salesians' Bangalore province, told UCANews.

The Vatican's Secretary of State Pietro Parolin said earlier this month that Pope Francis 'was shocked and profoundly saddened' to learn of 'this act of senseless and diabolical violence.'
Aden had been racked by lawlessness since Hadi supporters, backed by Gulf Arab military forces, drove fighters from Yemen's Iran-allied Houthi group from the city in July last year.
The Yemeni government has repeatedly vowed to restore security to the city but so far had had little success.
Al-Qaeda and IS have stepped up attacks in Aden, targeting mainly loyalists and members of a Saudi-led coalition battling Huthi rebels and their allies since March last year.
Al-Qaeda distanced itself from the mass shooting Friday, saying it was not responsible.
President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi has declared Aden to be Yemen's temporary capital as Sanaa has been in the hands of rebels since September 2014.

Pendeta India Tom Uzhunnalil Disalib ISIS pada Jumat Agung
Tom Uzhunnalil, seorang pendeta asal India yang diculik di Yaman pada Maret 2016, disalib oleh kelompok militan ISIS. Eksekusinya dilakukan tepat pada peringatan Jumat Agung, menyerupai penyaliban Yesus Kristus pada awal Masehi.
Sebagaimana dikutip dari DNA India, Senin (28/3/2016), informasi tersebut sudah dikonfirmasi kebenarannya oleh Kardinal Christoph Schonborn dari Gereja Katolik di Wina, Austria. Ia mengklaim bahwa ancaman penyaliban tersebut sudah direalisasikan pada malam perayaan Jumat Agung.
Sebelumnya, pemerintah India telah mengonfirmasi penangkapan Romo Tom Uzhunnalil, pendeta India dari Bangalore, yang diculik oleh ISIS di Yaman.
Untuk itu, pemerintah berupaya melakukan segala cara agar dapat membebaskan pendeta Salesian tersebut.
Pendeta Tom Uzhunnalil ditangkap dalam penyerbuan yang dilakukan empat militan bersenjata di rumah panti jompo di Aden, Yaman pada Jumat 4 Maret 2016. Sedikitnya 16 orang terbunuh, termasuk empat orang biarawati meninggal dunia dalam serangan brutal tersebut.
Di antara biarawati yang tewas, seorang berasal dari India. Sesaat setelah mendengar kabar tersebut, Paus Fransiskus I menobatkannya sebagai martir.
Diketahui bahwa ada sekitar 80 orang lansia yang tinggal di panti jompo tersebut, yang dijalankan oleh Misionaris Cinta Kasih, sebuah organisasi yang didirikan oleh Bunda Teresa.
Pada 1998, biarawati Misionaris Cinta Kasih juga pernah diserang di Yaman. Saat itu, sekelompok pria bersenjata membunuh tiga biarawati di kota pelabuhan Laut Merah, Hodeidah.

ISIS Berencana Salibkan Seorang Pendeta pada Jumat Agung
ISIS diisukan berencana menyalibkan seorang pendeta Kristen pada Jumat Agung. Pendeta itu berasal dari India, yang pernah dikabarkan diculik oleh kelompok teroris asal Irak dan Suriah itu pada awal Maret 2016.
Romo Tom Uzhunnalil diyakini telah ditangkap, ketika empat militan bersenjata menyerbu rumah orang tua di Aden, Yaman pada 4 Maret lalu. Sedikitnya 16 orang terbunuh, termasuk empat orang biarawati dalam serangan brutal tersebut.
Dilaporkan Mirror, Jumat (25/3/2016), sebenarnya belum ada kelompok yang mengaku bertanggung jawab atas serangan dan penculikan di Aden. Namun korban yang selamat dari tragedi itu menyebut, ISIS lah yang melakukannya.
“Baru saja diinformasikan, seorang pendeta Silesian, Romo Tom diculik ISIS dari Rumah Misionaris Cinta Kasih di Yaman. Kini ia sedang disiksa dan (isunya) akan disalibkan pada Jumat Agung,” tulis Suster Fransiskan Siessen dari Afrika Selatan melalui akun Facebooknya.
Mendengar kabar yang belum dapat dipastikan kebenarannya ini, media sosial sudah diramaikan dengan kampanye mendoakan keselamatan sang pendeta yang merupakan anggota persekutuan Silesian di Bangalore, India.
Namun begitu, pihak gereja yang menaungi sang pendeta membantah kabar penculikan anggotanya. Meski mereka juga tidak tahu keadaan dan lokasi Uzhunnalil sekarang.
